PNW 178: Beach Watch Program Receives Major Award
This update highlights the national award received by Washington State University's 20-year old Beach Watcher program. This program has trained over 1,000 citizens in Washington. In recognition of this outstanding public engagement program the Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) chose to give the program the "Public Service and Education" award at its annual conference.
