Wells
Wells are access points to groundwater. They can be artesian, without the need for pumping or have water levels below the surface and need pumps for access. Active pumping influences the level, direction and flow of groundwater. Since wells are connections to the groundwater they also provide access points for surface pollution to the groundwater aquifers.
